HK REALTINDO GREENS SAWANGAN BY PLANTING 2,000 TREE SEEDLINGS AND MERIT SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF HUTAMA KARYA'S 61ST ANNIVERSARY
Welcoming its 61st Anniversary, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (HK) held a HK Peduli Pendidikan activity by providing assistance funds for 20 outstanding and underprivileged elementary, middle and high school students located around the company's operational area, one of which was in the H City Sawangan Project, Depok which is a housing project from one of the Subsidiaries, namely PT HK Realtindo (HKR) which was held on Saturday (26/3) attended by Lurah Bojong Sari Lama, Lurah Duren Mekar and representatives from the Principal of MI Yapina Depok, SMPN 18 Depok, and SMAN 10 Depok.
President Director of PT HK Realtindo Sugiarti explained that the provision of scholarships is expected to be felt by the students around the project and this is a form of company appreciation for students who excel both academically and non-academically with priority recipients who come from weak economic families.
Sugiarti, President Director of HKR added, in addition to sharing education funds, HKR also held the most tree planting ceremonial in Sawangan by planting as many as 2,000 tree seedlings supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). The location of this tree planting varies, from general areas to residential areas around H City Sawangan housing estates given through the local village. The types of tree seedlings given also vary from Eucalyptus, Teak, Mahogany, Sengon, Mango, and Rambutan.
Meanwhile, Bojongsari Lama Village Head Yaya Sudira and Duren Mekar Village Head Yadi Supriadi, appreciated and thanked HK and HKR for the contribution of HK and HKR for the Education Assistance activities. According to them, it has become an obligation for every company that carries out its business activities in the region to contribute to CSR activities for the community as well as the environment of the region. Plus the environmental care program in the form of tree planting, this step is in line with the commitment of the Depok City Government to care about environmental greening. This is a very good step, hopefully it will continue to be sustainable and become an example for other companies to implement similar programs in Depok City, Sawangan in particular.
Currently, H City Sawangan housing, which covers an area of 15 hectares, has completed the construction of 214 housing units with a total plan of 637 total housing units, as well as 29 shophouse units. Regarding the progress of home sales, Sugiarti said that until now it has sold more than 50%. With its strategic location in Bojongsari, Depok. This project has the potential to become a sunrise area because it is located between the Sawangan, Parung, Bogor, and Depok Antasari (Desari) Section II Brigif-Sawangan Toll Road which is the link between the Metropolitan Area in Jabodetabek, added Sugiarti.
"It is hoped that the HK Peduli activity will increase the company's positive value in the eyes of the public and contribute to the motivation for the advancement of education in Indonesia, especially in the company's operating area and in line with Sustainable Development Goal number 4, namely quality education, as well as supporting environmental conservation by increasing green areas around the Sawangan area," sugiarti concluded.
